About me:

Artist Marcia X [DJ AMX] is a Puerto Rican and Peruvian-American multidisciplinary artist whose work spans installation, performance, painting, and film. With a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and EINA in Philosophy and Art, Marcia delves into themes of identity, culture, and transformation through a deeply intellectual and visceral lens.

Through visual art, they explore memory, displacement, and ritual. Their other investigations and writing traces the intersections of race, gender, speculative futures and race/gender in cyber spaces & social media. Marcia works with various communities in decentralized social media networks regarding moderation, safety tools & governing practices.
